Opacity and transparency combine as if crossing blankets of fog, vision stops, starting again with scraps of images, more or less expected.  
The distance between the eye and these images varies, more or less big for a vision that is more or less sharp, and triggers an adaptibility of the eye - or of the mental – which can be compared to the effects experienced during the mirage phenomenon.  
Repeating the recognition act, the territory and painting field investigation, until the path becomes visible, and then rinsing the surface, the distance travelled as if to reveal the colour of the journey more clearly.
