Glissages 7, acrylic on canvas, 100x100cm, 2010 |
In Glissages 7 and 8, a plain putty grey tint area acts as a screen’s background.
In this series, effects of depth and temporal sequences gradually nullify each other, looking for a more immediate closeness.
Some Glissages are circulating, on and off visible.
A cracked open landscape flows down, some fragments are erased.
The appearing-disappearing areas of this landscape are instantaneously moving.
They could reappear.
They stay in abeyance for a while, like a disrupted action.
